betta ich-how do I continue now?
My betta has developed ich, I have been treating him for 10 days with protozin (its for white spot and fungus). and I have also raised the tanks temp. at 32C, and had the tanks lights turned off (is it important to have the lights off?). Its been 10 days now, but I still se white spots on his pectoral fins. Should I continue the treatment? Should I maybe change medicine? I have another med. sera costapur which is for ich. Oh I have also recieved my aquarium salt at the mail today, how do I use that to help treat ich?
Its a 15l tank, ammonia and nitrites at 0, it has a small filter (i removed the carbon)
unfortunately my heater goes only as warm as 32 C.
I will do a water change tomorrow and start a new treatment on thursday

Raise it to 35, and change the medication, make sure you are dosing it correctly, do a water change before you change the medication, in the past I have found some medications are far better than others.
The light will make no difference, unless it relaxes your Betta.
