Clinton and George W. Bush. John Quincy Adams also lost the popular vote, but in those days many states only sent Electoral College representatives selected by the state legislatures to vote. The people themselves didn't vote for President in those states.
I'm not saying that Clinton lost the popular vote. George W. Bush did that. Clinton won through plurality. Bush lost the popular vote alltogether. He won the Electoral College.

The U.N. is a disfunctional enterprise. who's to assert which 5 valuable international places have the mind-blowing to veto resolutions, however the different 185 could desire to stay with it? Does France even should be a sort of 5 anymore? the international has replaced lots because of the fact the top of WWII. the way the U.N. operates ought to be redesigned so as that international places have equivalent representation and say in how the U.N. is administered. we could desire to continually do away with "veto potential" altogether. i'm in contact in democracy, whether it quite is complicated as quickly as we gained't even agree whether to punish Iran or not for attempting to construct nuclear weapons because of the fact Russia and China are status interior the way! How pathetic is that? because it quite is nice now, the U.N. is a waste of money and it quite is not doing something to clean up the international's issues. purely my opinion.
