Your poll--Should asking a question be minus 5 points or plus 5 points??
Yahoo Answers states that "asking a question is minus 5 points....I think it should be + 5 points or more. What are your thoughts?
WHIZZ--you state:When you ask a question you want something--so it costs Minus (negative) -5 points---
-When you answer you give something so you get+2 points. when you choose a best answer to the question you get 3 points back so it only cost 2---
I agree with the "superficial math"...
however..---- Look at it another way: the question-- may be asking for clarification from your audience of what they believe---it is eliciting a common belief rather than asking for information; "consensus" versus asking for information.
It also may be asking an intelligent question--which may not have been asked before,---- thereby creating a positive path for sociological, political, creative or whatever change.
Rather than the question being punished for minuses....why not "reward"the questoin with ++++ points ???

You know what they say:
"When someone asks a question, he's a fool for 5 minutes, when someone never asks a question, he's a fool for a lifetime."
So, yea, we should GET 5 points, that means increase our points by 5 not decrease.

EDIT:
But some non-logical questions, or stupid questions, or kids who copy their homework on here, and wait for someone to do it for them, they should have -10 not 5 points.

When you ask a question you want something (an answer)--so it costs you -5 points----When you answer you give something (answer) so you get+2 points. when you choose a best answer to the question you get 3 points back so it only cost 2 points. The world works much the same.

YES Because periods aren't that bad. A lot of women b*tch and moan and exaggerate all their symptoms because they want to use it as an excuse to be rude. "I have mood swings! Sit there and take it while I yell at you!" It's just blood, people. I hate to point this out, but a lot of people who are raped are not women or even adults. It's horrid, but little boys are often a target of that. After marriage, if you become a sex object to your partner, then your partner is an idiot and you should leave him. If a woman has any self-respect she will not stay in a relationship like that. Pregnancy made me feel incredibly sick all the time, but I wouldn't have traded carrying my daughter for nine months for anything. And as far as birth goes, it's called an epidural. We aren't cavemen anymore; the medicine is available. TAKE IT, YOU MORONS, YOU AREN'T MARTYRS. No one is going to respect you for putting yourself through tremendous pain when there was an alternative. A lot of pregnant women are very hormonal, and therefore very *****. I'm sure they would love to have sex with their husbands, if their husbands weren't so frightened of smashing the baby / afraid the baby could hear them / sending wife into labor. I love being a woman. I loved being able to feel my baby kick inside of me. The only thing I would trade with a man is the ability to write my name in the snow with pee.

Disagree. Charging point for asking questions helps to deter dumb questions like this being asked.
