Did you know that S&W is offering a 40% discount to Active/Retired Military?

Did you know that S&W is offering a 40% discount to Active/Retired Military

ONLY UNTIL DEC 31st?

Call or email their customer service to get the pdf form. The discount is off of the MSRP but it is still a pretty good deal. You can get a M&P AR-15 for a little over $700

Update:

I guess its less of a question and more of a heads-up, but technically since it says "Did you know...." it is a question.

Update 2:

THX- you can get M&P AR-15s for about $900, so $700 is a good deal.

It is better than your average Bushmaster or RRA. Take a look at the standard features on this chart from www.m4carbine.net

that is a great deal. To the guy who was unhappy with S&W and their policies, good news: while S&W did indeed sell out gun owners under the clinton administration (who threatened to canceled government purchases if they did not back the magazine ban etc), S&W was sold, and the company that purchased it is now VERY pro gun, VERY pro second amendment, and have brought the quality back up to where it was years ago. I too was a S&W fan, but stopped buying when they sold us out, but since the "new" S&W has proven itself to be pro 2nd amendment, and pro gun owner, I have gone right back to recommending them to everyone. When they sold us out, gun owners across America joined together and stopped buying their product. It forced their sales to plummet, and was the fuel that caused them to have to sell. It goes to show you what "the people" can accomplish once we start working together. Now, I challenge all of you to use the same process in Nov. 2010 and elect all new pro America, pro 2nd amendment, pro gun owner representitives into office and vote out the ones who have sold us out.

No the Olive Garden does not give a military discount all the time. The only time many of these places do give a discount is for Veterans Day and that will be for the AD or Retiree member themselves. They are under no obligation to give a discount to those in the military, they can then have to give a discount to police officers, firefighters, and other jobs that put themselves on the line every day as well.

The M&P AR's are about $500 over priced to begin with.

Smith and Wesson pissed me off a few years back... I don't agree with their politics and think they're basically back-stabbing assholes... as a corporation. While I have not sold off anything S&W that I already owned I do have a long memory for people and corporations who angered me. It's unlikely I'd ever buy anything else from them.
