I like some Screamo, but these stupid scene-core kids ruin it because they think it makes them look "hardcore." It disgusts me, the bands they listen to are just teenager - Pop punk bands, and whats worse they call those bands "Metal." LOL. Funniest joke ever. It cracks me up. These kids think Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park, and BFMV are Metal, when they are far from it.
I also hate that kids (especially girls) like they're Jonas and Disney singers because of they're fashion and looks, and they think that's what music revolves around. Music is supposed to be about the production and art of sound, not what the people that play it look like. If they were in a fashion show, they could care about they're looks without any critizism whatsoever.
BQ: Never.
BQ2: Yes, A LOT of whiney Jonas brother fan girls. Every time I tell them the Jonas brothers suck, they deny it and they always give me the "but they're popular how do you explain that?" exuse. My response: "Popularity does NOT = talent. It just means they're overrated." Everytime I ask them how they're Disney heros are "talented" they always stall the question and fail to give me a good reason. They tell me "Nick Jonas can sing because he's hot.", which doesn't prove anything. I say back "If Nick Jonas was a smelly hobo from the streets would he still be a good singer?" I get no response, just the look of defeat. When will these teens learn that music does not come from looks? Sheesh.

I never answer any of Man Egg's questions and I've already reported a couple of his questions so I totally agree with you. 1. For some unknown reason I used to really dislike Radiohead. Then I bought Pablo Honey because of *sighs* Creep. From there on I started to like them more and more and for the past few years they've been one of my fave bands. 2. Bikini Kill, Breeders, Dinosaur Jr, Public Image Limited, Stone Roses, Husker Du, Joy Division, Minor Threat, Rites Of Spring, Fugazi 3. Dealing with paparazzi and the constant media attention, 4. I don't like Bono that much but I do like some of U2's songs. However I still think they're one of the most overrated bands ever. 5. Not really. 6. I'm a spoiled only child so I don't have any brothers or sisters. My parents don't listen to much music at all and the little that they do listen to is absolutely horrible. 7. Just my friends really 8. Hopefully punk as there aren't really any proper punk bands around. I just wish that Fugazi would come out of hiatus. 9. When I listen to Twenty Four Hours or Decades by Joy Divison. They're brilliant songs but it's really sad since they were only released two months after the death of Ian Curtis. 10. I like every genre of music expect for pop and most dance music so I don't really get into fights over genres.

I don't find the particular genres or clothing styles ridiculous; it's the ones who do it who've never listened to Emo music, who've got no clue what some of the quotes on their scenester shirts mean...If you're going to like Emo or Screamo or Pop-Punk music, then do it, that's up to you, but if you're walking around wearing those clothes and saying that you like the music when you either really hate it or have never listened to it a day in your life then you're just an idiot.
What pisses me off is the guys that walk around wearing Metallica and Pink Floyd shirts, but when I ask them what their favorite song is they can't name a single one. I mean, even people who hate certain bands know of at least one of their song titles. Idiots. -_-
BQ: Listened to some Romanian Gothic Opera. I didn't understand a word of it, but the instrumentals were freaking awesome.
BQ2: Only when they can't give me a solid reason why they like it. Most of the time if someone tells me "Because I like the way it sounds." I'll accept it. But, I've been noticing that most Jonas Brothers or Justin Bieber--for example--fans don't say that. They say things like "He's dreamy." or "They were on my favorite Disney show." Most Lady GaGa fans, I don't take seriously because their reasoning behind being her fan is almost always "She's different." or "She wears really cool clothes.". I take people seriously if they like the music for the music, but if they only like the music because of something else (i.e. appearance, trends, etc.) then no I don't take them seriously.

Glam! Like the LA glam scene of the 80s... Ridiculous but in a beautiful way though. Seems like in the 80s music started becoming more about showmanship and looks rather than the actual composition of a song (not always the case though, ehem, GNR). I guess it was MTV's fault...
But I'm thankful for this, though... ridiculous 80s bands are awesome... yeah, that means you, Twisted Sister XD And who doesn't love bleach-blonde men who wear spandex? Men who look good in drag should be admired, not frowned upon... you're all just jealous!

i think emo kids and scene kids are cute...as long as i don't have to talk to them. or be near them XD
BQ- French. It wasn't completely French, but it was part of a song by Big D and the Kids Table
BQ2- Yes. It wasn't that i didn't take them seriously, it was just that i sort of found myself looking down upon them for being so unlearned in the musical world.

Hmm, ridiculous? That's all I can think of right now... the neon-clothed pop/punk scene kids.
BQ: Hungarian.
This is the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yr_5k78UbI
BQ2: Yes. I know, it's not nice, but I just can't take someone seriously who listens to Ashlee Simpson, for example. xD

I know you mentioned emo and scene but they have a lot of sub-groups too which are ridiculous. The stupidest one I heard was "cupcake emo". Wtf....
BQ: Japanese
BQ2: No, I just find it a little harder to get on with people who have a very different music taste to me because we have less on common but I wouldn't not take someone seriously because of their music taste. Each to their own.

Screamo, I know this is "scene kid" stuff but it's becoming such a trendy thing to listen to, and a lot of it sucks.
BQ: I don't even know.
BQ2: Honestly, yes. If I met someone older than 16 that listens to Brokencyde and Hollywood Undead you already know they aren't a mature person.

some girls in my high school write Jonas Brother lyrics all over their back packs and wear the shirts all the time, and i think its just strange taht a high schooler would do that

BA: Spanish
BA2:if were talking about music i dont take a single thing seriously, but any other time it doesnt really matter
