I'm really trying not to get my hopes up too much...what do you think?

So hubby and I have been TTC for over a year now. AF came on November 11th, and we bopped like bunnies since AF left. For the last week I've been simply exhausted; go to bed early and get up at my usual time, and I'm still just dragging through the day. A couple days ago I wanted cocktail sauce, and last night it was honey, and of course we didn't have either in the house (grrrrr). Haven't been really queasy...a little bit here and there. My tatas are a bit tender, my lower back has been a bear, and I'm peeing like crazy. In the last couple days I've also noticed a discharge when I wipe. I want to get a BFP this month, but I don't want to get my hopes up too high just in case. So do you think I should let my hopes get up, or should I keep holding my breath?

Update:

My cycles are finally getting back to normal post-depo. September AF came on the 16th, October AF came on the 16th, and November AF came on the 11th.

Update 2:

I have no tests in the house, and I can't run out and buy one at the moment. Grr! Or else I would test and see.

Update 3:

I should add that I was taking Depo-Provera after the birth of my daughter in 2007. I got the last shot in September of '07, and from what I've read, it can take up to and sometimes longer than a year for the body to get back to normal after taking it.

Well if your last period started on November 11, today is day 31 of your cycle. How long are your cycles? If they're not usually this long I would say test. Otherwise, sit tight and wait for your period due date to show. Unfortunately, the symptoms you are describing could be pregnancy, phantom pregnancy (it happens to the best of us), or the effects of a really strong ovulation and higher than usual progesterone levels. It's hard to predict what camp you're in.

The other thing I'd like to throw out there is that if it's been a year and you haven't had fertility testing, both you and your partner should. If you're not pregnant this time, you should plan on seeing a fertility specialist to rule out a problem that needs addressing. Infertility does not discriminate against age, gender, or having previous children.

    Good luck.

how long are your cycles? It's been a month since your last period, so you should be able to test now! Symptoms often don't show for several weeks, so don't focus on those, and dont get your hopes too high because of them. good luck ! :)
