so i want to sing O Holy Night?
in the xmas concert for my school but i don't know how to go about asking if i can and i don't know who to ask any suggestions? i am already singing in the choir but i want to sing this one song by myself for my mom

Tell your choir director (or whoever is in charge of the show) that you'd like to sing a short solo for your mom at the concert. If you let them know the emotional aspect of it, they're more likely to allow it than if you were to make it seem like you just wanted your fifteen minutes of fame.

ask your music teacher, or a teacher closest to you, and they can try get you.
like i'm trying to get a shot at preparing a band for a spring concert in my school,
and i'm gonna go about asking the music teachers.
