help on finding an idea for a good female classic rock song?

my school is going to hold a concert soon and i need an idea for a good classic rock song from the 70s or 80s for a solo i will be doing. i would prefer it to be upbeat, and it should be a song by a female artist.

Look up Chrissie Hynde and The Pretenders. Edge of Seventeen is a great suggestion, and you should check out other Fleetwood Mac stuff too (and yes, I know that Edge of Seventeen is Stevie Nicks solo).

If you're willing to go back to the 60s, you could do something by Janis Joplin.

None of these are 80's or 70's but they're sung by woman and go slow with a nice "up beat"

    1. Amaranth- Nightwish

    2 .Perfectly Flawed- Otep

    Best of luck

IF it is 2, you might sing Free Bird through Lynrd Skynrd or Janis Joplin...have you ever attempted Journey? That'd be well...or this is not very a lot a category rock however it is a duet Kid Rock n Cheryl Crow I froget the track however they sang in combination...worse involves worse you'll be able to consistently holiday down *Let Me Sleep on It* through Meatloaf, or any Elton John track...Candle within the Wind...some thing...(I consider thatt's the track through meatloaf)
