i am using a toddler formula for my 15 month old

    its for 12-36 months.

we tryed cows milk .. it got pooped and thrown up everywhere , lol

the majority of the world has an intollerance to a protein in cows milk ( including me and my partner )

and i dont think a toddler is able to digest this protein , heck most adults cant .

The main ingredient in toddler formula is whole milk powder .

Its just missing that protein thats hard to digest , so its easier on little tummys .

Plus it has a whole bunch of added vitamins and minerals .

i plan to keep using it for a while yet , maybe when my son is 2 i will try cows milk again

Never even heard of it. My children all started taking whole milk and eating solid foods at 12 months, so I can't even fathom why formula would be necessary. The food and drink they ate/drank had all the calories they needed.

Nope, but I do plan to breastfeed until my son is two years old... for the same reasons someone would give toddler formula, to continue to support his rapid brain and immune development.

No, I didn't use it. I did ask the pediatrician about it as my daughter stopped breastfeeding at 11 months. He said they did not recommend it (it is still fairly new) and since my daughter had already been drinking whole milk as a supplement we could just switch to whole milk.

No, I don't think it's necessary. If your young toddler has a well balanced meal along with whole milk - your baby should be ok.
