Aside from the Bible, How can we learn about God?

It is the same reason that your alibi cannot support itself in court. A claim cannot support itself, a book cannot prove its own validity, and a lie cannot become truth no matter how many sheep follow your false words. Hail thyself :)

Hmm most ancient creation stories can be separated into three groups that are still the three groups today. We have the australian that seriously paints the picture of evolution, we have creation from the "cosmos", and the rest are creation stories that all have a messiah. The prophesy of the messiah is seen in many other ancient cultures besides the Hebrew culture. This is even in the Bible, being that the Persian astrologers found Christ as a baby. They knew of the saturn occulation that would happen over bethlehem, and this is found in their Zoroastrian text Vendidad. They found Christ without a Bible.

The Bible is proved when it is lived out. Also, for one who REALLY is interested in finding God, He allows His Spirit to assist the seeker to find His Way and His Presence.

On a lower level, many addicts have denied being helped through AA or NA. However the Principles only work for those who SERIOUSLY apply them; there's no understanding without application.

If you objectively look at Nature, you must stand in Awe of the Creation. Just like a good book makes one admire the one who wrote / created it, Creation is a masterpiece to savor. A aesthetic soul will be inspired to know the One with such multifaceted expressions!!

just look around you at the beautiful world God created and.... oh sh*t, is that a mountain lion eating a gopher! ...Anyways, um, the bible also says that creation gives us a glimpse of its creator. first of all, if that's the case I shudder to think what that creator is like!

second, I look, and I see no proof. Things that make me wonder if MAYBE there's something out there, but certainly no specific proof that the biblical god is the one. So looking to nature does not do anything to strengthen one's faith in the Christian god. Yes, the bible is the only thing that we have to tell us the bible is the way. Not much to go on.

God doesn't punish anyone for anything. He's not going to smite you or anyone.

Grace is a choice, you don't have to receive it and obviously you don't want it. That's fine, but some people do choose to receive it. And it's possible for both parties to lead fulfilling lives. It's a CHOICE. You either choose it or you don't. There's no need to mock the people that want it.

God's not going to punish you for anything.

If you seek Him, you will find Him, and He will reveal Himself to you. No other book has so many prophecies been fulfilled, and there are many more to yet be fulfilled. You can read about who God is and what He has done starting in Job 38.

can't you see every thing all around you !! who created teeth for us to chew food to make easy to the stomach to digest who created eyes to let us see the world around us ???

do you think that a god who created life to Re-tribute every soul for it's behave & whether it follows it's prophet or denies the one & only god & wreaks havoc on earth ...can this god sends a son to die for our sins ???
