Where did Satan (the Devil) come from?
If God is Omniscient (knows all things), then he knew the future, right? Then he knew that Satan would tempt Adam and Eve and that they would sin, right? Did God create Satan, knowing that He was allowing the purity of angels and humankind to be corrupted? Why? (And don't give me any of that "free will" cr*p--that's just blaming us for something that somebody else did!)

Evil is the absence of God.
It doesn't exist as an entity of itself. It is the active denial of God.
Lucifer, the most beautiful angel, created out of perfect goodness for the purpose of being wholly good, chose to rebel against God.
Evil came from an angel, created out of goodness, choosing to rebel against God.

Began with the fearful and wandering minds of Jewish men who bombarded followers with threats of being persecuted in the future for things they found not acceptable. It evolved and Greeks and Romans adopted it adding their own little twists. Continually passed down from each generation people have come to accept "Hell" and the "Devil" as real things. So the logical and realistic answer to your question is, early 1st century Jews. I know you were looking for an answer claiming how the all loving God loved everyone and some guy messed up but to be honest, people are scared of dying, and to keep hope alive many people turn to this comfort or fear.
Sorry in advance for any offense you take to this.

God gave us a choice to accept His grace or to not accept it. That's obvious, because otherwise everyone would be a Christian. He wants us to genuinely love Him and want His grace and if we don't.. then we don't. And that's that. If we didn't have free will, then there would be no point of earth. Everyone would already be in heaven and hell would not exist because sin would not exist because we, who were given free will, would not exist.
God cannot create evil. Sin creates evil, we created evil. So here's the blame, it's on us. We suck. God created humans, he let them make their own choices, they chose to sin. Boo hoo. We created sin. Sin created Satan. The end.

hi.
i hope i understood.
the Statan did exist before GOD even made Adam and Eve.
but he was a stupid(i like to call him, because he feels GOD by all means, but he did refuse to do whatever he want).
he did worship GOD so many years(maybe 2000 or 3000 or 5000 years).
satan was a kind of elf(GOD did create him from a FIRE which do not smoke).
but when GOD did create Adam he said all angels and all elfs must admire Adam(something like that i can not find a perfect word).
but satan did refuse him.
that is why GOD kicked him out of his heaven!!!!
after that stan did swear that he seduse mankind.
and here we are and satan still keep his words.

Firstly you look about yourself, you know that when a baby born, he or she will die on his time, death is must
for everyone, then why they passas a sin ful life. every one know that a sin ful life brings them to hell on the
day of judgement, why they are not obeying the order of God.
Now think why He creat this universe or humanbeings ?
His warse is, He says that He was a hidden treauser, when He want to be known His personality, He creat
the humanbeings, to obey Him and bow to Him. So this was the reasion.
In the last english is not my language, I cant define it more, and you are not a muslim and you cant under

Satan is a hybrid ripoff of perfectly innocent non-Judao Christian deities who the Church felt should be portrayed as evil.
Greek forest, mountain, hunt, and shepard god Pan's body
Greek ocean, earthquake, and horse god Poseidon's trident
Roman love, beauty, and fertility goddess Venus's pentagram emblem
The name, as well as the names of Beelzebub, and several other named demons, were taken from Mesopotamian gods.

The devil exchange into an Angel who sat on the final hand fringe of God. He/she/it exchange into ejected from Heaven with the aid of God because of the fact he/she/it became evil. Like God he/she/it exchange into constantly there. He/she/it places temptation in each and every-ones way attempting to get them to forsake stable for evil. a lot of human beings do no longer face up to temptation. in certainty everyone succumbs to the devils temptations now and returned. The devil was once Lucifer, who walked before the throne of God. When he CHOSE to rebel against God, he was kicked out of the 3rd heaven, now abiding in the 1st heaven, which is the atmosphere surrounding the earth. Read what Satan said in Isaiah 14:13-14, it was his choice that got him kicked out, not God's.

Im muslim
yes Allah knew all of that. by doing good or bad we're not proving anything to God, we're proving it to ourself. If you do good all your life and pray and to whatever Allah wants you to do, than you'll go to heaven knowing that you earned it. Its like self purification. We'll be entering heaven knowing how valuable it is. Same goes for hell.

Good question. God wants us to come to him with that free will as to not create robots that he programmed to do his will. To do this he must've created a necessary evil so that we choose him.
