16 weeks pregnant with 2nd baby and can't breath?

I'm 16 weeks pregnnat with my second baby and i'm having trouble breathing.

NOt the the baby is growing type of trouble i had with my first, but enough that once in a while i start gasping for air and coughing trying to get the air in and have been getting pretty dizzy right before and for a bit after.

I know you'll can't tell me what is wrong, but to other have been pregnant or are pregnant moms, do you think its something to worry about? Or is it normal for some pregnancys? (before i go bug my doctor which in turn would pull my husband out of work cause i don't drive.)

I don't know how much I can help but that didn't happen to me in my two pregnancies and one was with twins. It's a mother's instinct... If you feel like this isn't normal (it doesn't sound normal) go to the doctor. I am sure your husband wouldn't mind taking you to the doctor if it means that your baby will be ok. Please just call the doctor or your husband and see what should be normal. If your hubby can't take you what about a cab? Just a suggestion. Please get this checked out, seeing as you are in such early stages of pregnancy, it would be devastating if anything went wrong because you didn't get it checked. Also, maybe you are dehydrated, drink some water and have a lie down. It might help.

    Best of luck

Its been a while since I was 16 weeks for me that was back in May. Besides having morning sickness here and there. I felt fine. If you are getting that this early then I can imagine what you will be feeling when you get to be 30 plus weeks.I would ask the doctor what is wrong.

  • That doesn't sound too healthy. Why not call your doctor before your husband and see if he thinks you need to come in. No reason to force your husband out of work if its something common...but that doesn't really sound too common to me. Best of luck!

you won't be "bugging" your doctor. When you have an issue it is his/her job and most likely passion to help you. it is something you need to get checked out
