Does anyone realize that if Israel keeps the West Bank it will be possible to build Highways that will shorten?

Israel must keep the West Bank not because of the shorter travel time from Jerusalem to Haifa or from Tel Aviv to Kinneret, but just because Judea and Samaria is the Land of the Jews.

Gas is very expensive in Israel

If they keep the West Bank and build the Highways. The Money saved on gas alone will eventually pay for the new highways.

Also the traveling time saved, will give Israelis many extra work hours which will cover the cost of the highways.

I don't know where you took your math or geometry lessons, but even in the extreme cases (Manhattan distance versus diagonal on a square) you can't shorten such distance in more than 1/sqrt(2), which is roughly 29%. The actual value is way, way lower.

As for practical uses - Israel already has road no. 6, and Isn't likely to build another cross-country highway in the next few decades.

This to say - shortening the distances by a little bit is not a consideration whether Israel keeps the west bank or not.

You already can drive along the jordan, i support the west bank being part of Israel.
