Do you believe in the rights and sovereignty of indigenous peoples over those of invaders?
Suppose, for the sake of argument, that an alien race has inhabited Earth since long before the arrival of modern humans (homo-sapiens) and that they occupy a subterranean environment on this planet today. They possess superior knowledge and technology to our species. Now suppose they want us to leave. Would it be our responsibility to respect their sovereignty over this planet? Should we acquiesce to their right to control us? How have we treated indigenous peoples in our history?
