How do you clean burnt on food on a pot?

Pour a can of Coca-Cola in the pot and bring to slow boil. Watch it very closely the whole time. Swish the pop from side to side slowly to see if it is working. Usually works fairly quickly.

Cover with water and add dish-washing detergent and let set over night. Burned on stuff will come away easily.

Try oven cleaner. I works to clean up the outside too.

I always soak mine in baking soda and water overnight. Don't scrimp on the baking soda.

Use steel wool fiber which is usually found in supermarkets.
