question for the vegan ladies out there....?
what vegan hygiene products do you use?
I know we have the option of making our own cloth pads but I'm wondering if there are any brands out there that are vegan friendly?
thanks :)
@harring this question was obviously not targeted towards you, now buzz off.

This is weird, b/c it's the second question I've answered relating to this today. Anyway, I've been using a Keeper (similar to the Diva Cup) for about 15 years. I also use cloth pads as panty liners & for overnight if I'm flowing heavy. I started using them because they're more environmentally friendly & healthier, not because I was veg'n though. I was only vegetarian at the time anyway. You could also use Instead cups, which are kind of the same thing, only they're disposable. If you don't want to go that route for some reason, I would recommend organic cotton. Natracare has a full line of organic cotton (and vegan) menstrual products.

i use either seventh generation or natracare. both have full line of pads, liners, tampons.
natracare is sometimes cheaper but the liners/pads arn't wrapped individually so their impossible to carry around, the tampons are thoo. seventh generation is wrapped indiv. and the pads are alot more modern looking with groves and ridges and whatnot, seventh gen. is just a strip of organic cotton, more conforatable though! both are vegan, organic, and eco-friendly and you can get them at the healthfoodstore
i'm not sure u wantted to know all that lol but hope it helps!

The Diva cup is vegan. I've never heard of it before until this post, so I went and learned about it. Very interesting product and it's not the only kind of its type. I found some links if you're interested:

Hope that helps!

Organic tampons is as far as I'm willing to go. I really don't want to have to wash pads out in the apartment laundry ... I'm sure my neighbors don't want me too either lol.

why be vegan i think it is kind of stupid if a cow learns how to start eating us more power to him.
