What do you women have against hairy men?

And don't give me that crap that not ALL women dislike hairy men cause that's not true. Every woman I ever ask out turn me down cause of my Grizzly Adams beard and mustache. Women were biologically and evolutionarily suppose to be attracted to hairy guys as it's a sign of sexual maturity as boys can't grow facial hair. So why is it women nowadays can't stand guys with facial hair? Women ask guys to shave their mustaches, beards, AND some even pubic hair. Next thing you know they'll require us to shave our eye brows and under arms before they'll date us. I mean guys might as well be women with penises these days. Am I the only one who thinks this is going to far or what?

Some women do like hairy men. If it wasn't true every single man would be walking around smooth as a newborn baby and that has yet to be seen. Just as some men like their women to be completely shaved while others don't mind a little bit of hair, women are the same way. Each and every one of us has different tastes. You just need to find one that embraces your hairiness!

Personally, I prefer unshaved mustaches. I've had boyfriends who shave in the past and they can never keep their faces stubble-free so it hurts when we kiss. Men with beards are better for me. However on the pubic hair issue, grooming is a must for both sexes. Neither sex should be forced to be completely bare, but things should be kept nicely trimmed as a courtesy to your partner if you expect oral pleasure.

And if none of this helps you, consider this: For years women have been asked by their partners to be completely bare. We've waxed and shaved and plucked until we had no leg hair, no armpit hair, no belly hair, no toe hair, in some cases no arm hair or eyebrows, no trace of facial hair, and especially no pubic hair. Simply put, what goes around, comes around. ^.^

Let me get this straight...you think you are getting turned down because of your beard and mustache, and yet you refuse to shave? The problem isn't with the women...

It's possible to have well-groomed, attractive facial hair. In fact, I prefer a man with a nice mustache and possibly beard. However, if it's apparent that the hair is never washed or groomed, that's a turnoff...no matter where the hair is!

You might as well argue that women are "supposed" to find unbathed men attractive. Whether they're "supposed" to or not, if you know that bathing and other hygienic measures are more likely to get you a date, then it's counterproductive to whine about it.

How do you know that you're getting turned down because of facial hair? It could be another factor.

Acceptable hairiness is def a function of the society we live in. Didn't Egyptians Men in the days of the Pharos remove all of their hair?

100 years ago women could be much hairy and it was ok. And for men in the 50s beards and mustaches were not acceptable at all.

And every woman is different some like beards and others do not. I for one think beards look terrible unless they are closely cut and trimmed around the edges. And guys are supposed to have hair everywhere else - but hopefully not like a gorilla.

Yeah society seems to have gone off hair overall, both genders. Personally I prefer it. I like a guy with nether hair, hairy chest, stubble. Bushy beards I find a bit hard to be honest but maybe it's because it's not common in my age group?

    Um, rant much?

I myself can change my mind depending on the person (note 1: Waistcoats hide alot of gut). I never realised my ex was overweight, but after that, I started finding people like Jack Black or Alfred Molina hundred times more attractive than I thought before.

But I do know, that I like to see a man's whole face before making a decision. I guess it's why I also haven't dated since because I'm more wary about people and their background; Plus, I like people's faces. It'd hurt me if I didn't know the exact curve of my significant's upper lip, or the shape of his jaw or anything. It's like me admitting to friends that I'm so near-sighted I can't recognise faces 8 feet away from me; I'd wear my horrible glasses every now and then, and I even once wore shorts over my hairy legs when I joined the Dungeons and Dragons club. It's admitting who you really are to people that's important; I guess.

For me it's because of my allergies, which I've mentioned a lot on here. If I kissed a man with facial hair,my entire face would itch and burn. It's an issue of practicality for me. I do think it's odd that women don't find facial hair attractive. Some of the best looking men I've seen have beards. Even jim Morrison looked better with a beard. http://a1259.g.akamai.net/f/1259/5586/5d/images.ar...

And Tom Selleck looks silly without his moustache.

I am not very fond of facial hair in men myself. However, I have no objection to pubic hair, chest hair, or body hair in general. I could not answer for other women.

    Goatees are hot

Pubes on women are supposed to be a sign of maturity (not being jail bait). That doesn't seem to be in high demand either buddy.

Stop whining. Just because some women reject you doesn't mean women generally reject men with hair generally.

Most women like men who look masculine, not feminine - as long as it is not obnoxious like totally long & unkempt hair + body odor.
