I want to work in environmental conservation...how to get my foot in?
I feel like its what im meant to do but i all i have is an Associates Degree from a CC and a dream...lol...but im serious about wanting to clean up the planet!! how do i get my foot in the door??

have been told by many people in the industry that the best way to get into it is through volunteer work. Positions are highly sought after and employment in the industry is often internal so if you start volunteering, people will get to know you, you'll know people and it will be easier for you to get employed.
I also believe it is easier to get positions in regional areas rather than in the cities.

Look for a job in environmental consulting. You could do environmental cleanup work, remediation. if you live in an area with good environmental laws, jobs like that are more common.
