Is it justifiable for the government of India?
in 1999 the age of retirement of professors was 60 and now it has been increased to 65. Isn't it a kind of injustice to those who were made to retire at 60?

Yes, It is welcome decision.
Now, Strugglers have 5 years more to serve & one cannot be sure of Pensions.
As far those who retired at 60 years prior to this change, have to move on.
The Future should be concentrated upon and not the Past.

In the UK all men, regardless of profession, qualify for retirement pension at 65. The same rule for retirement for those employed in public service applies, at 65 you go! (At least, that's what has happened to many people I know.)

Before 60,it was 58.We can not do anything.It is the policy of the Government.
