Too Many CPU Processes Running?
Upon startup, my laptop loads the following processes: http://images.plurk.com/4342019_63c7409035cc02412d...
My computer's pretty slow and I need some help discerning which processes I can terminate. I do end some of them before actual use but it would be better if I could know which programs are taking up my precious memory so that I can keep them from running on boot.
Thanks!

End the processes that having your user name next to your process name.. for ex:- you can end the following processes having your user name "Cary Amel"
"Google toolbar Notifications"
"frmnerk" or something next ot google tool bar notification
"jusched.exe"
"Ramassist.exe"
"pinger.exe"
"smax.exe"
"smoothview.exe
ssssheduler.exe
tabbonu.exe
TabTO.exe
TaceMgr.exe
TCserver.exe
TFncky.exe
aah... i lost my patience.. But, remember... don't end the process of system, local or Network Service... just try to end your user name application process...
Scan with a good free Antivirus(If you can't afford a price) like Avira or AVAST or AVG like that.. I know you have AVG.. Then try AVIRA.. I use AVIRA..
But i can't understand... your CPU usage is good..

There is actually no System Idle Process - task manager lists that to show how much free CPU time there is. So, if the CPU is basically idle then there is something causing issues in your system.

I suspect at least a few of those processes are unnecessary, or could even be viruses or spyware. If you type the names of the processes in to Google you will find information on them. http://www.processlibrary.com/ is a great site for this.

Wow, thats a lot of stuff-
If you are bound to windows.....then you may have to live with it.
If not....may I suggest you look at Ubuntu.
I have had similar problems on 3 home computers (old, older, and very old). Ubuntu Linux fixed 2 of them, but Windows is still on mom's comp....cause thats what she uses at work.
