The question can't be asked without addressing how the premiums could go down 50% and that would be by increased taxes. So, in the one column we have lower premiums and in the other column, higher taxes. Technically the premiums would appear to have been lowered but by not mentioning how that came to be, it is morally deceptive. The government is on a spending binge and they cannot claim to save the money the CBO may be on board with, but there are too many variables that can change the ultimate cost. Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are running out of money, there is no spare moolah sitting around waiting to be spent, so I simply don't believe that health insurance reform is the dream everyone wants it to be.

you already know that is peoples fault. Medicaid isn't any diverse from different coverage companies if certainty they get processed with the help of the comparable human beings. in the event that they and different could end going to the emergency room while they have a cough or an hassle-free shrink that they might see their known scientific expert for, the value does not be so intense!! that is human beings being stupid that drives the value up lots. Now does it value greater to be dealt with in the emergence room then your known scientific expert, sure and rightly so. You get charged the comparable if that is an Emergency or not and the wellness facility would not care because of the fact they get the money, and not your scientific expert. i think of people who don't have an emergence could be fined for going to a minimum of one, yet how do you modify that and likewise that is going to value money to accomplish that. What they could do is have separate strains (or make appointments like a medical doctors place of work.). they could make you bypass there and then come to a decision if that is an emergency or not. If somebody would not are available with a existence threatening wound or ailment, then you definately get to attend all day and nighttime if choose be.

Of course nobody is going to oppose that but unfortunately, a 50% decrease is not reality. Health care and insurance costs are not going down and your taxes are going to go up.

If health insurance get planned control of system premiums will go up 50% and amount of services offered will decline. Saw it happen with HMO's first reform lived through; Reagan's reform triplied my med gap cost than came another version of HMO that lasted close to two years or one year for both med gap plans that offered it, when they started to charge a premium know amount charged would increase annually, which happened.

Just where do you live and who are you asking this question to? Obviously it is not in America and other Federal health care programs have not come close to doing anything except make patients wait at their Doctors office. In Canada I hear it is about 8 hours to see your Doctor. All this health care bill is for is to control. It is all about control and support for the legalized killing of the most innocent with taxpayers money.. What groups gave the maximum and much under the table to pro-choice politicians? Notice they left it in so you will pay, even your children, you will pay for others mistakes. I thought that was a private thing.. in the bedroom or now it is in our bedroom financed by us? Who would or should want it? When our grandchildren get their jobs, they will pay again as we have paid for our children. So others can enforce the death penalty on the most innocent.

Is this not simply lack of responsibility? One tenth of one percent of abortions are claimed to be for rape. One of five rapists are falsely accused. That is 20%. One husband spent 16 years in prison for a false accusation. He lost his daughter by that rape by someone else! Later DNA and a confession got him released. Even the DNA was not enough to have him released. It is to put one in prison, but not to get one out when the crime committed by another is rape. It took the confession of the real rapist/killer to get the innocent husband released.

Nobody is opposed to that. But that is not what is going to happen and we all know it. You cannot crate over 100 new government bureaucracies, force insurance companies to cover high risk individuals and have lower premiums. It just cannot physically or logically happen.

It Depends. What do I get for that 50% cost reduction?

How do I maintain the same level of services or increase them for half the cost?

Projected increase in my present policy is 271 bucks bringing it to a total in January at 1243 bucks per month. Change we can go bankrupt with.

Those that oppose the loss of freedom of choice, and personal freedom of the individual. I would rather pay a little extra and keep my rights and sell them for the price of a flu shot.

I am not opposed to that, but that is not what will occur under the new healthcare act.. Whoever says such things is either lying or mistaken. And whoever believes such drivel is either lying to themselves, or just plain gullible.
