Earlier this afternoon, I heard a great commotion at the front door, as if someone was trying to enter. My wife heard it too. The dogs started barking and continued to bark for several minutes. I went to check, and no one was near my door, no driving cars, nothing. A minute later I heard the upstairs fan go on, with one of the blades on the floor. Rational explanations anyone. No "its my imagination" type nonsense either. Could a small earthquake or something cause this, without affecting anything else? I wouldn't like to think a visitor is here, or if it was, hoping that it moved on directly. Nothing else has happened since this.

The pro-choice people are only pro-choice when the choice is abortion. Example: The duggar family (20 kids and counting ). They had a miscarriage. So alot of people, who claim to be for reproductive freedom, are a) glad the baby died, and b) don't think the duggars should be allowed to choose to have babies.

at my son's school today is grandparents day. So, the concert has songs for kwaanza, and a hebrew song, both with words in the native tongue. Yet any religious christmas song ( silent night, for instance ) is left out. They do have some christmas songs, but they are instrumental. Not surprised, but the hypocrisy is glaring. At least they should have the courage to admit they don't like Christ.

how does this defend or justify the Obama presidency after 3 years, and why should it be a reason to vote for him. Bush sucking doesn't make Obama any more appealing. Romney in 2012, I say. The "bush mess:" doesn't work anymore, especially after 3 years, including 2 with Obama's party in control of both houses of congress.

the one doctor lady, the oriental one, had an abortion of the redheaded guy's baby. her choice and whatever, but then part of the fallout/consequence is his choice to respond the way he did. One cannot control both the choice and the consequence. So, she has to accept however the father of her aborted baby chooses to respond. His emotions are his mind, therefore his body and his choice. I don't know what she expected. If he was against the abortion, why should he be forced or even expected to be happy after the fact. I know its a fictional show, but still. This type of situation probably happens a lot in real life.

Any violent crime, due to its being of a violent nature, should automatically carry an equivalent sentence to a hate crime. Regardless of victim or perpetrator, rape or murder, for instance, is equally horiffic, in and of itself, and thus should receive maximum sentence. Make additional legislation if necessary, making all 'non-hate' crimes receive the same punishment as hate crimes, under a different type of category. Hate crimes would still be punishable, as well as other equally heinous crimes.
