don't ya love the blatant hypocrisy?

at my son's school today is grandparents day. So, the concert has songs for kwaanza, and a hebrew song, both with words in the native tongue. Yet any religious christmas song ( silent night, for instance ) is left out. They do have some christmas songs, but they are instrumental. Not surprised, but the hypocrisy is glaring. At least they should have the courage to admit they don't like Christ.

Update:

excluding a single religion only, while allowing all other religious beliefs, all in the name of religious tolerance. Not surprising, thought. Its gotta be the end of days.

Sorry, but what is the "native tongue" for a Kwanzaa song? And whatever it is, I'm supposed to believe that they taught these kids that and some Hebrew just to sing a couple of songs after seeing you demonstrate you don't know the meaning of the word "hypocrite"?

Source(s): I don't think you're a hypocrite, I think you're a lying sack. Wait, you're a Christian. And Christians aren't supposed to bear false witness. You could be a hypocrite after all.
  • This is quite an entertaining question.

Okay, so here are the facts:

1 You went to school and they had a concert with a song in Hebrew and a 'Kwaanza' song. I guess there are Jews and Blacks at the school (oh noes!)

2 They 'didn't' have Christmas songs, but actually they did, as you said, they had instrumental ones.

3 You feel that this means the end of the world is coming.

You probably also wonder why people think Christians are bonkers!

A single religion? So there was also a song for Diwali, Ramadan, Winter Solstice, A song celebrating Saturn's birth (which was actually on Dec 25th), etc? Not everybody's Christian, so what?

So, are "the Kwanzaa & the Hebrew songs" religious or secular? I'll bet you didn't bother to find that out. Or are you just bitching because you have nothing else to bltch about?

If you don't like it, then bltch about it to the school.
