after 3 years, how come obama hasn't driven 3 hours back?

Why anyone would want to go back to the Bush era is beyond me. The seeds which have produced the tangled financial mess the United States sits in today were sown by (George W.) Bush and his cronies (Veep Dick Cheney has a LOT to answer for...key word here: Haliburton).

How quickly people (seem to) forget that it was "W". who sent the U.S. into TWO wars, Afghanistan and Iraq, which have cost America billions of dollars as well as, more importantly, too many lives.

What's that quote? Those who don't study history are doomed to repeat it. Wake up, America!

Or where the stock market was, or how McCain rushed back to DC to pass TARP, even though he hadn't been there since April, or how GM was going under, or Lehman Brothers was going out, along with AIG and several other big financial institutions? Not to mention GM.

It a great big gulp when I read you were talking about getting back to 2000. A gulp that forgets about 9/11, two wars that have lasted ten years, all done extrabudgetarily, tax cuts, and all the lack in interest in oversight that went on for nine years under Bush.

Our plant damn near died, and the entire country was stunted. Any gardener will tell you that it takes more than a couple of seasons for a plant to come back especially when it gets no help from the gardeners helpers.

Before you decide he needs to go, you'd better get a handle on where we've been.

And who is it that would take his place. Because those guys don't know enough all put together to grow a marigold in a pot.
