funny isn't it, about pro-choice only going one way?

The pro-choice people are only pro-choice when the choice is abortion. Example: The duggar family (20 kids and counting ). They had a miscarriage. So alot of people, who claim to be for reproductive freedom, are a) glad the baby died, and b) don't think the duggars should be allowed to choose to have babies.

That hate has a lot to do with their politics and religion. Only the most liberal of the pro-choice are glad the baby died, and that should tell you just what kind of people the far left are.

Source(s): "Close your legs already, you psychotic broad." "I think it is time she finally learns a lesson!!! Yeah its nice people say sorry for your loss, but come on lady, your vajayjay is probably sagging to the ground by now!!!"

Pro choice means exactly what it is, in favor of having a CHOICE. It has never gone one way. I think you are sadly misinformed if you assume that.

I don't believe I've every seen any pro-choicer go up to a pregnant woman on the street and tell her to abort, because that's not what its about (While on the flip side, would being the victim of a rape stop the overzealous pro-lifers from calling her a murderer? Hm....).

If that is the best decision for a WOMAN'S situation, then the OPTION should be there.

Should Michelle Duggar start having abortions? No, not unless that was the right choice for her.

I do believe she is acting irresponsibly as a parent. There are MANY risks to getting pregnant over 40, she already had a complicated pregnancy where both her and her baby nearly died. I think when you have at least 17 other kids to raise and support (emotionally, financially) then yes, I look at that as a poor choice.

I'm not comfortable with how they use God as some kind of excuse or scapegoat for continuing on, I'm sad for her older kids who have had to take on the responsibilities of basically being a replacement parent, and I find it a little suspicious that she's now made a name for herself just by continuing to get pregnant. She's been making money off of each pregnancy since her 13th or 14th child. There's something a little disturbing about that.

Pro-choice means mind your own business.

Thinking that the Duggars should be restricted in how many children they have, is definitely NOT the pro-choice philosophy.

Why would I be glad Michelle miscarried? Condolences to the family. There's a big difference between wanting to go through with a pregnancy, and not wanting to do so. The women in the latter category should be free to opt for an abortion.

Not me. I'm pro-choice, I believe families should be allowed to have as many children as they can support (i.e. if they can't support them, CPS should take them away- not that their ability to be reduce should be forcibly taken away), and the Duggars have my sympathy for their loss.

I take issue with religious, cultural, and sometimes political or even racist (i.e. pronatalist) commands that one's congregants, neighbors, or citizens must reproduce and have large families, because to me, that deprives individuals of making real choice (i.e. if you think God will send you to hell for not being fruitful and multiplying, the choice to do so isn't very freely chosen, considering the alternative!) . . . but if someone truly wants a large family, more power to them.

Nobody should be judged for the reproductive choices they make.

I don't know anyone who is glad the baby died. Lots of people don't think they should be breeding more kids, but nothing stops them from doing so. I think it's ridiculous, but I don't want laws passed to keep them from breeding until kingdom come, unlike the anti-choice people who want to force their views on the pro-choice.

They can choose to have babies all they want to, I don't think anyone has suggested a law saying that we should prohibit that (outside of people who think we should have laws prohibiting people from having more than one/two child(ren) anyways.) That doesn't mean I have to be happy about how irresponsible they are about how many children they're having among other things.

Michael, I think the Duggards are (a) idiots and (b) genetically selfish. They're churning out babies as fast as they can so that THEIR children -- and nobody else's -- will be able to consume more of the world's limited resources.

But having said that, I think the Duggards are "free to choose" to be selfish idiots.

Now a question for you, Michael. Would you like to be one of the Duggards' children?

Do you think you'd get a lot of love & attention & quality time from your parents, if you had 19 brothers & sisters that you had to share your parents' love with?

I think it must be really difficult for the children, myself. I could be wrong.

    You're lying outright.

Expressing your opinion that it's a vagina, not a clown car, isn't actually trying to pass a law to stop them from having kids.

Choice, it's about your right to decide about your body.

Coke, cock, or coat hangers, I don't care what you put in your body.

If it's a miscarriage and they wanted a baby, then I wish it hadn't died.

People who get abortions don't want the baby/can't care for it/etc.

    There's a big difference.

"The pro-choice people are only pro-choice when the choice is abortion"

Incorrect. "Pro choice" covers abortion, all forms of birth control, adoption and giving birth and keeping the baby. It's a CHOICE. YOU can decide what YOU want to do.

Source(s): And FYI, I'm glad the baby died, since it would be horrible to grow up in a household with so many people and a family that can't support you physically and emotionally.
