will explicit eeo compliance notices negatively affect my job chances?

I am a heterosexual white male. I will ignore both scorn and sympathy, since neither pays my bills.

You are entitled to your opinion and good for you.

That said ... do NOT mention the topic when applying for a job. Other than providing EEOC compliance forms with the job application or in it, the employer should not say much on the topic either.

Dress for the job applied for. Be polite and professional.

It shouldn't since discriminatory hiring practices under the EEOC also apply to straight white males. You can no more be denied a job for being white and straight than you could for being black and/or gay. If you can prove you were denied a job based on these factors, you have a lawsuit to file.
