Let's assume some people are right, and Obama inherited problems from Bush. Still?

how does this defend or justify the Obama presidency after 3 years, and why should it be a reason to vote for him. Bush sucking doesn't make Obama any more appealing. Romney in 2012, I say. The "bush mess:" doesn't work anymore, especially after 3 years, including 2 with Obama's party in control of both houses of congress.

A president can not do any more than his Congress allows. All of the GOP candidates have been making all of these promises. But, without a friendly Congress most of those promises will go unfulfilled.

Democrat party control: There were 49 Republicans and 49 Democrats with 2 Independents in the Senate. There were 31 more Democrats than Republicans in the House. A majority? Maybe, but not enough to make much of a difference especially since Democrats do not always vote as a collective. Conservative Democrats often vote with conservative Republicans.

Obama is the one of the worst presidents this nation has ever seen. Even with total control of congress he couldn't "right the ship". His socialist ideals coupled with his disdain for our country is destroying our nation by dividing us. His supporters play the blame game - old news. Whether it is Romney or any other Republican nominee - we need to fix the damage before it's too late.

People decided that Obama only gets 2 years to fix 8 years of Bush damage. When that didn't happen, people voted the cons back in to undo any progress that had been made.

Yes, Obama inherited problems from Bush. And things have gone further down hill in the past 3 years. He should have made some headway, somewhere. I just don't see it.

those problems he inherited were pretty complicated and messed up ones. to expect everything to be back to normal in less than 4 years when it took a decade to get to this point is absurd. the critics are the ones being unrealistic. it should be considered a success that we are not in another great depression and that unemployment has not continued to sky rocket given the circumstances.

  • If someone drives the wrong way down the highway for 8 hours it will take more than 3 hours driving just to get back to where you started from, won't it?

i agree at some point the Democrats need to responsibility as well. Their denial isn't going to help them get re elected which in my opinion isn't a loss for America.

'Obama's party in control' isn't really accurate...he would have had much more success if it weren't for that Republican barricade in congress...

    It's called liberal denial.
