I assume so. When I was young, we didn't have filter and it wasn't common thing. we alwyas boiled water with that thing and drank it for more than 10 years. in fact I heard they help heart and eye sight.. I could be wrong though.
about the dog meat lol.. believe or not it helps me in summer =.,=. I hardly deal with the heat and when I eat once in the summer period, it gives me extra energy.. -.,-
