My Acer Aspire 5517 microphone isn't working. Help?
For some reason, my acer aspire's microphone won't work! i have absolutely no idea what to do. Help?

Hmm, if it's an integrated mike(built in) then this might work. If you have Vista or Win 7 press Start and type 'device manager' and press enter. Click on the little arrow next to Sound, video, and game controllers to expand it. Right click on your microphone and click properties. Click the Drivers tab and click uninstall. This will uninstall the driver. Restart your computer. When you log on it will automatically reinstall and all is well with the world. Unless it doesn't work. Which in case the problem might be with the mike itself.
