Have you ever done something like this?

Ever predicted something to happen that you didn't want to happen and that thing happened, in hockey. For example, the other day my brothers girlfriend was over and when the Wings/Jackets went to overtime she said the Jackets will win. Well, the Jackets won.

Have you guys ever done something like that? How'd you feel?

Yeppers, just happened. I was chatting with a few people from the hockey section.... one of them Canadian. I was gloating the US scoring while they were shorthanded pretty much most of the game. With the US on the PP late in the game up 4-3, I said "watch, Canada is gonna get a shorty here", and less than 30 seconds later Pietrangelo scored the tying goal.

    =/

    it made me sad

This year I have felt like crap A LOT because repeatedly when the Wings have had a decent game I'd say something stupid to the effect that it wouldn't last and often it didn't. The game you referred to is case in point (whatever the tweet that means).

Well, last month I was at the Canes-Thrashers game. The score was 4-1 Canes winning with 13 minutes left to play, and I said "We're gonna win!" My dad proceeded to say, "A lot can happen in 13 minutes." The Canes lost 6-4 that night. Pretty much sums up the Canes season so far.

Last year in the Eastern Quarters after Carcillo got in the fight in game 6 when the Flyers were up 3-0, I predicted that'd be a game changer....boy was I ever right, and boy did a great chance for the Flyers get pissed down the drain.

Bill, if all you do is complain about the Flyers than you should just go to Pittsburgh where Crosby jersey's a rampid and the seats are rainbow colored.

Back in June I called the Flyers season. Dang if they didn't make me seem like Edgar Cayce.

    How'd it make me feel?

There ain't no "feel" about it really. They disgust me with their inability to see beyond their insistance on trying to win a Stanley Cup the old way.

They've sold out their fanbase and many of them are too dumb to figure it out.

"Ooooh, a fight. Let's get tickets to the next game."

    Idiots.

not in hockey no but sometime its gotta happen since i watch it so much. The only time i can recall is when i was watching GMU play Villanova in basketball and it was a close game and i thought to my self i bet their(Nova's) worst guy is going to make the game winning 3 pointer and wouldnt you know it 8 minutes later with 19 seconds left, their worst player makes his 1st 3 point shot and then mason couldnt get a shot off and lost by 1, heartbreaking.

As a matter of fact, I have done precisely that when I predicted that the shootout would be among the rule changes implemented around the end of the most recent lockout.

I had mixed feelings. On one hand, I felt somewhat happy that I was able to foresee the future for once. On the other hand, the shootout is solely responsible for me having not watched a single regular season game post-lockout.
