What is a good quality vocal microphone?
I'm trying to buy one, but I don't know a lot about them. Just a model would help, but if you can give me info about them, or even a way to research, it would help a lot.

There are many, at many different prices, but three particularly common "standard" mikes are the Shure SM58, Beta 58 and Beta 58A. The SM57 is very popular too, but more for speech than song.

A good all around mic for vocals is the Shure SM58, which is around $100. It’s used by pro’s all the time. The Audio-Technica AT2035 is a bit better which costs around $150. And if you don’t have an audio interface the The Samson C01U connects directly to your usb port which costs around $100, and sounds pretty good too.
