laminate flooring in a modular?

can laminate flooring be installed in a modular home. The floors seem level. I do feel the floor give just a bit when walking on it but not much. What kind of underlant under the laminate flooring do I need. Thank you

    If its a bounce or movement between joists, you need to correct that by adding a brace under that section or adding another sub flooring atop to stiffen it.Be more concern with a flat floor rather than a level floor. You d feel it being out of level to much to effect it.

    Then use the normal foam type under layment as normal..Don t go the 99 cent laminate specials.. Get a decent product, preferably one with a warranty of some sorts.If you need to know some preferred brands I ve worked with and prefer, just e mail me through my avatar.

    Laminate will be fine, just install as normal. Just use the foam rolls they sell as underlayment. I would strongly recommend a floating floor, not a nail down or glue down type. I have used several of the click together brands and they all work well.
