How to keep pipes inside from freezing..?
I live in FL and we're having a hard freeze through this coming week. My heater broke, how do I keep the pipes inside from freezing? Is just letting the faucets drip enough to keep them from freezing...?

The Home Depot sells pipe insulation that works great. It's split down the side so it's easy to install and really cheap for the good it does. Inside pipes should not be affected unless you're in a mobile that has exposed pipes underneath. Then , the isolation I mentioned will still work and letting the water furthest from where it comes into the house trickle would be enough. Nothing in the living area should actually freeze, though so don't panic. The PVC pipes outside though, they could be hit.

Just letting the faucets run at a trickle is enough to keep them from freezing. Don't forget to flush the toilet every so often also.
