Do you think this is extreme studying?

My dad wants me to do 6 practice SAT sessions (the three math and reading sessions in each test) a day for my upcoming SAT test on the 23rd of January. Each session takes about 25 minutes, so it takes about three hours a day, on top of my schoolwork (advance classes). I think this is unfair, seeing how John Hopkins doesn't even look at my reading score if I score above a 540 on my Math, an I usualy score about 650-700 in my practice tests.

What do you think?

BTW, I;m trying to get into the John Hopkins Math and Science summer program, and I'm 13.

go for it! you are so lucky your parents looked into all this for you. My parents didn't and they didn't go to college, so they knew nothing about getting into college and stuff. Now I need to push myself to die in AP classes, 10 hours of dance a week, and community college classes, while needing to do study abroad on breaks, I cant wait to be free so I can do what I want also, but do it, if you do not, you will regret it. You seem to have the brains and path for a perfect life in the future. trust me, my brother is at the San Francisco conservatory of music, and to get himself there, he had to go through periods of working himself to the point of throwing up/fainting in the shower/and depression, he looks back at all the recording sessions/lessons/studying/performances/AP classes/tests and remembers the pain he went through, but now he is the best freshman student whose music got chosen to be played in front of John Adams. Life consists of sweat and tears which only remind us we are living.

The more you do now, the less you will have to do later.
