Does God disapprove homosexuality?

In that case, can we disapprove rain too? Or radioactive isotope Astatine-204?

It's kinda the same principle...

The moment you talk about homosexuality, you are describing human action which is committed through choice and free will. One could give many other examples of such behaviour: idolatry, fornication, adultery, drunkenness, etc., etc., which are a matter of choice and of which God expresses His disapproval in no uncertain terms. He makes it plain that there will be no place in Heaven for people who indulge wilfully in such things and fail to repent. http://www.bible.ca/ef/expository-1-corinthians-6-...

In drawing an analogy between rain and radioactive isotope Astatine-204, you are being deliberately and wilfully provocative. How can one possibly compare natural phenomena with a chosen way of life? God in creating us makes us responsible for our actions. Rain and radioactive isotope Astatine-204 bear no moral responsibility.

its not the same thing at all... we cant chose rain today an no rain tomorrow... we cant chose a radioactive isotope.... but homos can chose to commit an abomination, a sin against god. They can chose to say "no I wont do the right thing, I will chose to do evil"...

And God can disapprove of that choice

Well, you can always leave this world and go meet God personally and find out, but if you are Catholic, it would not work. So unless you have immortal powers or a Gay Jew (no matter what a Jew does, they are the chosen ones), and can talk to God; you will have to wonder like the rest of us "in sin".

PS: Remember, if you are Christian, we are all born into sin.

    Good Luck.

God provides a variety of opportunities for service, fun, friendship, personal enrichment, and spiritual growth. Men work together to help remove barriers for sexual monorities focusing on issues relevant to those from a christian background.

God does disapprove of ACTIVE homosexuality - he makes this clear in the Bible. However, before anyone starts ranting about discrimination against gays and so on, God makes it clear that he disapproves of ANY sexual relationship - straight or gay - outside marriage.

If you were to create life and have them pro-create, what would you do with the ones that became homos and disrupted your beautiful creation and worked against your labor?

    Would a garden produce?

So much so that in the OT, homosexuality was punishable by death. Now it is punishable by God's judgment which is eternal damnation to hell where one will suffer unimaginable torture for all eternity. Fortunately, God loves us so much that he sent his own Son to be murdered for our crimes against Him! He loves us so much that he had the most innocent human ever to have lived murdered for our sins against Him. Now talk about mercy and forgiveness.

Think of this. Until recently, homosexual acts were punishable by modern secular governments. Take Alan Turing (famous British theorist) for example. He was punished by Britain, for homosexuality. Imagine if the British government said "We love you so much and are so merciful that another person was punished for your sins. All you have to do is accept him as your savior."

    That is God's mercy lol.

  • Who knows?

The Bible does, but the Bible is not God, it's just a book written by humans.

So I don't know if God disapproves homosexuality.

Why don't you ask him? He never listens to me! Besides, homosexuality is not healthy...Do you have any problem with that? You used to say "I'm not homosexual..." And I'm still waiting to see your work... Do you remember that? Despite of this, I wish you a very happy year and only half of a kiss...
