Introducing my 2 year old to the new baby? Anyone with experience?

So our second daughter is almost here. I have a scheduled c-section on January 19th. My Aunt will be taking our two year old the morning of my surgery and will bring her to the hospital after we have our baby. I'm nervous about what to do when we get home. One because I am having a c-section, and two the fact that our two year old is definitely a mommy and daddy's girl! She seems to be excited about the thought of having a sister, and she is extremely motherly and loves her baby dolls, I'm just worried she's going to think we don't love her anymore. Anyone else been in this situation?

Also, because I get assistance for daycare, my two year old will be home with me for my entire Maternity Leave, how hard is it to get into a new routine with two? Also, my boyfriend will be home to help, BUT he recently fractured his arm, so he can help, but only to certain extents! Any good advice is greatly appreciated!!

My first was 2 when I had my second. Really it depends on the child, but there is no gentle way to introduce her. I bought mine a BIG sister gift and she really liked that. The transition was easier because she was playing with her new kitchen so much. Also she didn't get really jealous about the gifts that the baby received. I made sure to include her in all the activities that were new to her. From diaper changing to nursing. She was really curious about all of it. That was actually the easiest part. When they both got older and my first born started to want EVERY toy that my youngest had, that was when it got interesting. Good luck on the delivery and introductions.
