What do you think of this girls name?
I came across this name a few minutes ago and really like it. I initially started by pronouncing it Air-ee-on-ah, but I think the pronunciation Are-ee-on-ah, sounds better with the last name. So I have a few questions :)
1. Do you like the name (either pronunciation) and which way do you pronounce it?
2. Which pronunciation do you prefer and which do you think sounds better with the last name Daneker?
3. Do have any spellings that you prefer or think would be easily pronounced in the way I like? The spellings I've seen so far are: Ariana, Arianna, Aryana, Aryanna.....and I'm not quite sure which one I like most.
4. Which spelling do you think looks best with the last name?
Thanks everyone, your help, answers and opinions are really appreciated <3

I prefer the 2nd pronunciation. It is prettier and more euphonic. As to the spelling: Keep it simple. Either Ariana or Aryana would be easy for the child and others to spell. I once knew a little girl, who is now all grown up, and has changed her name, whose name was Mariyjannah, which was pronounced Mariana. She has changed it to MaryAnna. Weird, unsual, difficult spellings do nothing to make a name more beautiful. They only serve to confuse others, and draw unnecessary and unwelcome attention towards the person who bears such a name. Keep it simple is my rule of thumb. And I think written, the spelling Aryana looks very pretty with Daneker. The Y makes the name look very artsy with the K of Daneker. It looks aesthetically more pleasing, I think.

I like Are-ee-on-ah the best. I think it's more original. I also think it's better with Daneker. If you want it pronounced Air-ee-on-ah then Ariana is the one I prefer but for Are-ee-on-ah, Aryana or Arreana?

Why would it be Are-ee-on-ah if it has no O in it?
I would pronounce it Are-ee-uh-nah.
1. It is ok, I prefer Aria (Are-ee-uh).
2. Are-ee-uh-nah
3. I think I like Ariana the best.
4. Ariana would look good with any surname.
I watched Rent for the first time two nights ago :P haha it was great. I have the songs stuck in my head constantly lol.

Hi. I prefer are ee ahn a. Sounds better with the last name to me. My spelling choice would be Ariana, simply because then she'd have a chance of buying a bike tag or a coffee cup with her name on it later in life.

1.) It's okay, but a bit "too pink" as I like to put it. I pronounce it "ah ree AH na"
2.) "ah ree AH na"
3.) Arianna. (Ariana isn't bad either. But please, avoid the Ys.)
4.) Arianna. I'm not just saying that because that's the spelling I prefer either.

Well, you never actually said the name, but from q3 i'm guessing it's Arianna?
1. Ah-ree-ah-nah
2. Ah-ree-ah-nah
3. Arianna/Ariana
4. Arianna Daneker. Because Daneker only has 1 n.
