Is this the first time that 3 of the 4 NFL playoff teams will rematch the final game of the season in the f?
Eagles vs. Dallas
Green Bay vs. Arizona
NY Jets vs. Bengals
I have never seen anything like this before. I have teams have to play each other 3 times in a season but 3 out of 4 back to back!!! Any thoughts?

Yeah, weird that it happened in three of the four games. I remember in January 2002 the Bucs and the Eagles played each other back to back and Philly rested players and still beat the Bucs with two TDs by third string quarterback AJ Feeley in Tampa on Sunday Night football on ESPN (that was the week of the rescheduled games after 9-11) and then the following week Philly beat the Bucs and Tony Dungy was fired. But the Bucs got revenge the following year when they beat Philly in the Championship game on the way to Super Bowl XXXVII. (Also I think in the mid-1990s the Packers and the Lions may have played in back-to-back weeks, that was the playoff game that Brett Favre threw that ridiculous TD pass in the final minute to beat the Lions in the SIlverdome)
This year is interesting, you don't know really if Green Bay or Cincinnati were really trying (although Cincy actually played most of their starters, yet lost to the Jets 37-0!) But Arizona rested Kurt Warner, so you don't know if those teams just didn't want to show too much to the opponents. At least the Bengals get to play next week at home, the other two games are at the same site. What really suprises me is how bad the Eagles looked against Dallas. I really thought they were playing good lately and for them to get shutout, when they had a chance to grab the #2 seed from the Vikings and a bye, I guess maybe the Cowboys are for real.
I certainly wouldn't be surprised to see upsets in the second round, I think Dallas and Arizona (or maybe even Green Bay) could get to the NFC Championship game over New Orleans and Minnesota, who haven't been playing that well the last month. In the AFC, I would expect the Colts and Chargers to win their divisional games (regardless of who comes out of the Wild Card round, although watch out for the Ravens) but another Indy-San Diego playoff matchup in the AFC Championship Game could go either way. You didn't ask for picks, but there they are, anyway.

DOING WELL 1. Brett Gardner - Gets on base often, and he steals nearly every single time he's on 2. Andy Petite - He was supposed to be the weakest of the four main starters, but he's doing amazing 3. Robinson Cano - Nearly .400 average and 6 home runs 4. Jorge Posada - 5 home runs 5. Phil Hughes - Carried a no-no into the eight last week DOING BAD 1. Mark Teixeira - Ok, I know he's been a slow starter, but COME ON! 2. Javier Vazquez - An anteater could pitch better than him 3. Nick Johnson - He takes walks... otherwise his slump is worse than Teixera's 4. Curtis Granderson - Had a great series at Fenway, since then he's been as cold as ice 5. Alex Rodriguez - 2 Home Runs so far...

I think i remember two teams playing each other twice in a row back about ten years ago, but not three.
I see all three games going the same way, the Packers run by the Cards, the Cowboys beat the Eagles but in a much closer game, and the Jets destroy the overrated Bengals

yes some times in a playoff a team can face a division rival 3 times
but as for the last week and then the following having 3 out 4 is rare.. once in a while you might se one game but not 3

its unusual that this happened. but in my opinion the results will be the same except i think the scores should be closer. 4 of the 6 teams however had nothing to play for so i think they might have tanked the last game. maybe new england should have taking notes!

I think so.. I've never seen this.. It's pretty crazy.. I think that most of the same results will happen again though. Packers will beat Cardinals. Cowboys beta the Eagles again. But i think Bengals are gonna beat the Jets.
