For a really light drink, when you want some bubbles but nothing sickly sweet, add a splash of Frangelico to a glass of club soda on ice, and you've got some hazelnutty fizzy water. A nice refresher.

    Chocolate Cake (shot)

    1 oz Frangelico

    1 oz Vodka

wedge of lime dipped in sugar

Shoot the Frangelico and then bite on the lime.

    --------

You can also use it as an interesting substitute whenever a recipe calls for Amaretto.

I use Frangelico to drench my Christmas fruitcakes instead of rum. I also make "cheater" brownies using Frangelico or Kahlua...

    1 box brownie mix

    1/4 cup oil

    1/4 cup Frangelico or Kahlua

    2 eggs

    1/2 cup chocolate chips

    1/2 cup dried cranberries

1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Grease 8x8 baking pan. Preheat oven according to brownie mix directions.

Mix brownie mix, oil, booze and eggs till just blended (do not over mix), stir in chocolate chips, cranberries and nuts. pour into pan and cook according to brownie mix directions.

Another good use is to make martinis - feel free to adjust amounts, this is just our basic recipe.

Add to a shaker full of ice

    2 oz vodka

1 oz Frangelico (or Bailey's, Kahlua, Grand Marnier, Navan....)

Shake it up and pour into chilled martini glass. I will sometimes add a bit of triple sec (maybe 1/2 oz) to martini mix, and to make it fancy - we will drizzle chocolate syrup around the sides of the chilled glass.

There are drinks that start with coffee as a flavoring, although not as a fermentable. For example, I make a wicked coffee wine and some clones of Tia Maria and Kahlua.
