Time for detox - What should I eat?
I've had a crazy holiday season, eating at so many parties. I want to go through a detox but I am trying to find a detox program that would let me cleanse without starving. No crazy vinegar only drinks or buying foot patches that don't work, I just want a real detox program that has worked for you. I am 5' and I weigh 96lbs, so I am not looking to lose weight, just cleanse. Thanks.

Try the Matt Roberts detox diet, an adapted version of which is in the article below. It basically means cutting out alcohol, coffee, tea and processed foods for 3 weeks and omitting carbs in the evening in week one. You may experience headaches during the first week as your body reacts to the cleansing process but you can eat what you want as long as it's healthy.
I did this detox 4 years ago when I was feeling tired and lacking in energy after the festive season and I felt great afterwards.

I hear ya! When i indulge after the holidays I go on either a soup and salad diet for awhile or a yogurt, cottage cheese and fruit diet! Both are very effective at curbing hunger while giving your digestive tract a break from all those huge portion complex carb holiday extravaganzas! Good luck!

Steamed rice, steamed veggies of all kinds, fresh fruit, whole wheat bread toasted. peanut butter, water with lemon juice or hot herbal teas with lemon juice, tomato juice with (you guessed it) lemon juice. Bran or oatmeal cereal. Try to avoid refined sugar, use applesauce, fresh blueberries., sliced peaches and pears, you get the idea, Nothing fried , maybe some poached eggs or poached fish or tuna for protean.. Nothing heavy like gravy..
