It should not affect an amniocentesis. They will use an ultra sound to guide the needle. It should be nearly painless. The fibroid may be a problem for a vaginal delivery though. A C-section may be necessary. Good luck and best of wishes.

Well I would assume they would have to avoid the fibroid when sticking the needle in. I'm not really super knowledgeable but I atleast am reading it, lol.
