Any suggestions ?He cuts contact after 5 years of seeing eachother then calls does it often !?

We see eachother for years and now it's been like 3 times he doesn't call for 3 weeks to a month I sent 3 messages and no answer then out of no where he texted after3 weeks why would anyone do that,what can I reply to his text I'm wondering if I should even write back ! Any suggestions ?

    we teach people how to treat us by what we tolerate... if you respond, you are giving him the message that its ok for him to call the shots and contact you (or not) at his will and when convenient for him...

    I personally, would not respond at all..

    you want to tame a tiger -- then you need to carry the whip and chair...

    responding (even if you are angry or sarcastic or laying guilt on him) says ONE thing... "I will respond when you contact me"....

    don;t do it... YOU start calling the shots.
