what do you think of this story i wrote? would it make a decent movie?

back in 1888 there was a man who was curious what the future would hold.His name was John. He knew this scientist who always did crazy things in this secluded shack in the woods. So he decided to give him the idea of a time machine. He walked into the shack to find the time machine had already been built and the scientist needed people to test it. John wanted to see if the murders perpetrated by jack the ripper would ever be solved and if he would ever be caught.He then recived a communicator watch So he travels to 1932 and is not pleased. There was a depression and the murders where not solved. So then he travels to 1890 to see if he will ever marry the girl of his dreams. He arrives at the time pereod to see her corpse laying at his feet and a man in a trenchcoat slowly walking away. He chases the man and questions him. The man denies noticing the body and walks off. So he wants to travel back to 1889 to stop that from happening but the scientist does not comply. He claims to have a mechanical malfunction. So John then hunts down this man and questions him. The man denies any claim of being the murderer. Then John sneaks to his basement and finds his dream girls corpse on a table and her organs being harvested. He runs at the man taking his organs and gets stabbed. The man that was questioned comes down and lays john on a table. John concludes this must be the ripper. They are about to cut him open when he grabs the knife and wrenches it from his hand. He then cuts jacks accomplace across the face and puts the knife in his shoulder. He then kicks jack in the nose and staggers out. When they awake they are not pleased. The scientist fixed the malfunction and teleported him to 1889. He was face to face with a tall,bloody nosed murderer when he arrived. He ducked and hit jack in the windpipe. He noticed jack had the same watch as him. Before he could think jack takes the knife and drives it under his ribcage, twisting it slowly. Then a cop sees him and shoots at jack and misses. So jack slits the cops throat and in that time John gets away. He goes and hunts down the scientist.He finds him and interrogates him. He ended up killing him by beating him to death. Then the machine went haywire and sent him and jack to 2040. They where in the middle of a battleground with strange machines. A marine saw John and handed him a usp 45.. it was a handgun that was quite new to him. Then marine was bleeding out and before John knew what was going on large tenticals picked up the marine and ripped his skin off. He was still alive and it was sucking his life out of him. So John ran away, shooting at the tenticals as he ran. He found a bunker and was questioned by american forces. They where in the middle of the rescource wars and also there was a parasite going around that mutated its host. So after he was checked he was asked to join the U.S. forces. He agreed and trained for years with them. Then he became infantry. He got up to major and worked well with his squad. one day they where infiltrating a chinese camp and before they started their assault they saw everything blow up around them. Chinese troops ran out of buildings on fire and in agony. They where confused until they saw a russian force mowing down the survivors. They got behind the russians and started picking them off. Then John saw a familiar face running at him. It was jack. Before he could react jack had him pinned and was trying to slit his throat. He fought him while the battle raged around him. Jack drove the knife into his chest and he collapsed. Jack pulled it out and was about to cut his throat when another infantryman shot Jack in the side of the head and Jack slumped lifelessly to the ground. Then he got up and was airlifted out. the U.S. had won this battle. Then everything went to hell as unknown lifeforms stormed the camp. They where human like but had tenticals. They ripped the infantry to shreds. John recovered and went back to battle the next month. He was storming a russian bunker and it was going well. He was checking a small room and he was jumped by a man with a huge scar running across his face. The man shot him in the kneecap and kicked him in the temple. He then took his combat knife and held John hostage. John realized that this was Jacks accomplace and he then shoved the mans arm up and rolled out of the position. The accompolace was then mowed down by U.S. forces. they where about to celebrate when they got a transmission saying that a large force of unknown organisms where engaging chinese hostiles. The U.S. forces where leaving the bunker and about to board the chopper. Then the chopper got hit with a javelin missile. John was on the ground covered in blood and the chinese remenants where killing everyone around him. They where all clustered around the demolished chopper and all his allies where dead so he then took a grenade in each hand, pulled the pin, sprinted at the chineese forces and dived right in the center of the squad.
