Is it me or is the politics of this country and europe just a general mess?
Politics in britain is a mess. Each politician in this country only cares about there image and what there perceived to be in the media. This leads to smiley faced prats like blair, brown, cameron etc trying to please the minority and make every1 happy, this does not work you cannot please everybody in the country, you just have to chose decisions that are better for the economy on the whole, for example Margret Thatcher closing the mines in wales, it was unpopular but it saved the tax payer money because it was cheaper to import coal from china than keep the mines open. Secondly what has gorden brown down except be a "politician" we are letting people run our whole country who have had no previous experience doing anything else except being a politician. Politicians should be people who have made it in life as successful business men who understand basic principals of economics and run the country as if it were ther business. Another thing that really pisses me off to the brink of madness is that people blame the banks for the recession, are you blind? was it not Gordon "goodjob" brown and his wonder labour party who told the banks to loan 120% mortages i mean thats a recipe for diaster its not there fault there making money and then when people cant pay it back because there idiots its the banks fault?? a mortage should be 8-% max. any thoughts??
Ok karl the heathen, running a country is alll about making the lives of the inhabitants easier and raising standards of living (economic growth). Now just an opinion here but surely people who know and understand how the basic fundementals of economics and have proved that they can be successful in life, just because they make money because there good at something we should call them coporate bastards, the whole thing is wrong wrong wrong, "lets hate someone because there good at there job and have more money than me." rather successful business men and woman than some smiley faced union pratt, who wants yearly pay increases for the same amount of average work and holidays by the dozen... theres no such thing as a free lunch. people have to work for a living! This brings me on to the benefit system, our government actually encourages couples to split up? they pay you more on child allowance if your a single parent, this just sends out the wrong message. family is the root of community.
another thing, I beleive that the media is ruining are political system, simply because all politians nowdays only care about is their image in the paper, its a bit of a problem, cameron and brown only care about their image, what major policy has brown or labour introduced in the last 12 years thats made a real difference, well apart from help worsen a global recession, raise taxes and put 3 million people on benefits? anyone who thinks gordon bown has done an "alright job", i would like to fight you sir.

The politics in the UK has always been run by 'liars/cheats/crooks/scammers since for ever - its only recently the voters have 'finally cottoned on too and accepted that fact'. None of them with exception of WC and MT have every done the UK any good at all - they all following there own agenda when elected by the voters with 'disastrous results' that have 'crippled' the UK.!!
Your posted points of view are all valid - the banking crisis although global - our system was also too blame for there involvement as well. Until the voting public gets away from this 'die hard voting attitude' for there long standing individual parties over the years - this country will never ever see 'any change' as too the progress of the UK.
In 4yrs time this country (whoever gets into power) will be in the 'same mess' as it is in to-day and the election after that will be the same - 'absolutely no change at all' - and the voters/public need too wake up to that fact - unless the voters find and vote for 'radical change' of the political system and its polititcians nothing will ever change and the problem is the voters/public just don't have the 'stomach' for that type of action so things 'will never ever change'.
Thats why we in the UK have become a nation of 'moaners' and no action - all of us putting up with anything these polititcians throw at all of us and these politicians 'know this fact' - thats why 'they treat the voters/public with so much contempt'..!! And its all 'our fault' - we voted for them over the years and we did'nt stop them - even when we saw the writing was on the wall with all there (polititcians) bad decisions and stupid polices all those years ago - me included.!!

I would have to agree that its a mess but that is simply because the parties here are a mess and europe is mostly socialistic which of course will always lead to a mess. If our country would simply run off of liberal and conservative basis i would think there would be a lot less confusion and lies. When ur at home or some bar having political conversation things dont turn into a mess but thats because u simply point out the benefits in your own political agenda and point out the flaws for who ever your debating with. Our country needs to move back to its roots and be gone with this 2 party back stabbing.

Yeah, its a mess.
Think of it like this, Gordon Brown, Labour and other politicians are leading us along a path which comes to a cliff edge. But it gets worse, we are going to fall off the edge. The question is, will we survive the fall? As you're falling, you hear the politicians saying "Don't worry, i'll save you!". Will someone save us? Will we be bounce back?

Bleh. Your ramblings are lunacy. Do you really want the suits and the good old boys that rule the economy ruling politics more than they do?
Honest workers, technicians, union leaders and political activists should become politicians, not corporate bastards.
The suits don't create wealth, the workers do. We can do away with businessowners, but we can't do away with workers. That proves the suits are parasites, and the workers should own the means of production.

Every country in the world is in a mess, even countris like China, UAE or India. The only difference is that some countries are in a bigger mess than others. Britain has a bigger mess with its corrupt and in efficient banking and lending capital markets.

Britain's empire finally got here to an in depth in the early 60's so no longer somewhat 500 years in the past. You do might desire to envision your information (somewhat while you're doing a level). The monarch acts because of the fact the top of state, what might you like a advantageous President like Medvedev or Putin in Russia, or Mugabe in Zimbabwe or perchance Obama from the U. S.. All international locations choose a head of state and it fairly is clever to maintain the monarchy it fairly is to a undeniable quantity additionally the custodian of the international locations wealth specifically factors. the cost of doing away with it may be very costly. If we had learnt from historic past then perchance various the subsequent genocides because of the fact the 2nd international war does not have got here approximately (Rwanda, Bosnia and others). historic past exhibits us how human beings may be manipulated and conned, if greater human beings paid interest to it then communities such because of the fact the BNP, Communist occasion, etc might have a plenty greater durable time getting a foothold in society. in case you like Britain to be a destiny dealing with u . s . then concentration on it (and that i do no longer recommend submit questions with regard to here). Get a great degree and get in to politics, do something for society and not your self (in assessment to maximum of of as we communicate's politicians). Do the examine and argue for the kinds of investment that we choose no longer the stupid investments that are dictated via people who have not got a clue. yet maximum of all be arranged for the self intereted people who care purely approximately their wealth, status and private well-being to shoot you down via their media apparatchiks.

Politics in this country has always been a mess. It has only just taken us that long to realise it....Thanks to good journalism and its fearless exposure of MPs and their bad behaviour and attitudes in Parliament.
