My neighbor is urinating off their deck onto my property. They've done it at least 2 times. What should I do?
I'm in Minnesota. I see it in the snow. They are young guys that party on the weekends. I have a security camera that caught the "urinater". Should I contact the police? Should I leave a note on their door asking to please not do this? They are renters. Should I talk to their landlord? I just don't want any retalliation. There was also vomit on our grill last summer that we had to clean up! UGH!

Ok that's just gross, sorry for your jerk neighbors. You run the risk of retaliation no matter what you do. However, you have to do something. I would start with the landlord, if that's what they're doing to the outside of the property, just imagine what the inside looks like. Someone needs to get in that place for an inspection. If that landlord doesn't stop the problem, I would then contact the police. don't call 911, find their nonemergency number. Make sure you document every incident, no matter how small. Time and dates are important. Good luck

If you really want to press the issue, I would contact the police. They may be able to charge the "urinator" with public indecency (or something similar) based on the video evidence.

If I were you I would first contact the landlord and show them the tape. If that doesn't get you anywhere I would contact the police.

I'd call their landlord, then the cops. If they start retaliating, well I'm pretty sure a lawsuit or something more severe (like arresting) would suffice.

It sounds like they are having a lot more fun than the inconvenience they are causing you. Be thankful for the urine; it is good fertilizer.

Give them a copy of the video or tell them you have it on video and ask them to please stop. If they do not give it to the police
