Another question about pregnancy tests?

Today I went to the store and bought an Answers early pregnancy test. My period is already a day or so late. If I took the test in the morning, how likely would I be to get an accurate result? I know sometimes there can be false negatives but I don't want to take it to early.

Update:

btw I have been experiencing alot of the symptoms associated with pregnancy.

I took a First Response pregnancy test [usually test doesnt matter though] three days after my missed period and it was positive and I took it like at 5 o'clock at night. Lucky i suppose ha.

But if you have any doubt that you might get a false negative and you dont want to take it too early then i would suggest waiting a couple days and then take it just in case its just a late period.

I was pretty positive I was prego though so i just took it when i wanted.

    Hope i could help.

    Good Luck!!

  • You need to read the directions on the test. Some home pregnancy tests can give you a positive reading 5 days before your expectant period.

The first morning urine when you wake up is the best to test and your reading should be precise. I'd probably take two just to be sure if it was me!
