Why aren't the Dems more insulted by Reid's comment?

After all, he said basically, that Dems are too racist to elect a dark-skinned black, or one with a black dialect? He's saying that if he were darker (like Clarence Thomas) that you'd vote for a white instead.

It wasn't Obama he was insulting, it was the intelligence and moral turpitude of potential voters!

Because when you're a Democrat and you're a racist (most of them are-they don't believe people of color can make it without them), your buddies will give you time to "reflect" on what you said so you can issue a statement telling the world that you uttered a misstatement.

If you're not a Dem and say something like that-you're an overt racist-and the world will end if you're not immediately dumped from office.

i'm going to start by utilising asserting that i'm no longer a Democrat. Now i'm going to ask somebody to tell me that Reid became incorrect in his fact. Do you truthfully have faith that a black guy with a street dialect could have been elected POTUS in 2008? while somebody can teach me the way it became a lie, i'm going to alter into outraged. His remark became cheesy, sure, inspite of the incontrovertible fact that it became no longer racist. It became real. no one in this united states has a staggering to no longer be indignant, and we are all loose to make fools of ourselves. Please attempt to maintain that throughout innovations. Edit - Edit - @ zzsleepur - sure, that's approximately what became reported. except what became reported is truthfully racist, how is it hypocritical to no longer call it racist? It should be approximately what became reported. in any different case, all people who're outraged are in simple terms making the crap approximately hypocrisy as much as stir up outrage. Racism is all approximately motive and degradation. Reid tackily used the be conscious negr0, yet what he reported wasn't a lie and wasn't meant as a mushy against black human beings. Trent Lott, on the different hand, became making a music the praises of a guy who ran for POTUS on a segregationist platform and reported publiclly that we could be greater perfect off as a rustic if we had elected him. in case you may not see the version between the two comments then i'm afraid that's a futile reason.

because its the truth. He used a poor choice of words but the majority of america would not have voted for obama if he was darker skinned and spoke ebonics or spoke like the stereotypical black person.

Source(s): i am black and a democract and while i feel as if his choice of words were wrong, i agree with the message intended.

The only reason Reid is getting a pass here, is he bribed the two Senators Nelson and

Landrieu to get Obama care, Other wise his *** would be sucking canal water.

Now they are going to try and shift it to Republicans being racist, Just like Democrats to try and blame others for what they do.
