Worming.....how long before results?

If a dog is a little too thin and you think it may have worms, how long would it take before you saw an improvement in weight? (wormed with Drontal)

Update:

DOGPERSON

How do you know i was even talking about my dogs? I know whippets are meant to be lean, i have had (as you well know) working Lurchers all my life so don't talk to me like i am a muppet.

I was actually asking about a friends dog.

You need to take a stool sample to Vets to get it analyzed under microscope to see which type of worms dog has, if any. Sometimes, only the eggs are found. There are different med's for the different types of worms.

    MIGHT have????

Droncit is only for TAPES...which you can SEE. Complete waste otherwise.

    Rapid weight gain is *BAD*.

    FAT is BAD.

    Worm w/strongid for rounds.

    Pannacur for hooks,whips,etc.

Whippets are SUPPOSED to be thin-they pack fat around their innnards-NOT under the skin. FAT around gutz is BAD!
