I think Dogbettor is pretty close. Some where between $2500 and $3000 sound be a very good guestimate. 12 year old Gran Prix probably is not worth the effort. I would look into getting a different car.

Transmission is going to be the killer, Call around to the transmission shops, find out how much it would cost to rebuild it, if less than $1500.00 jump on it.
Battery new $85.00
Headlights only $ 35.00 a piece
Struts $65.00 each side

Tranny $1800, battery $75, headlights $360 for the assemblies or $20 for bulbs only, and $200 for struts. So about $2500. You may want to rethink the repairs.

transmission average 1500.00 parts and labor..battery 70.00 both head light average 100 depends on where you buy them at..struts also average 200.00 again depends on where you buy each part at and who installs
