Are you surprised that a majority of Americans now recognize that the liberal biased media has a liberal bias?

New Rasmussen Survey: Voters See Media As Liberal, Biased & Too Powerful

"Only 20% of all voters say most reporters try to offer unbiased coverage of a political campaign. Seventy-two percent (72%) say most reporters try to help the candidate they want to win."

    You can say that about the right wing media too. I have yet heard them say anything positve about President Obama. If they were fair and balance, they would report the good and the bad. $

    The media does have a bias, so it does not suprise me. That is obvious in almost every media source of any kind. However news channels such as CNN are less biased than say FOX News, which are the most biased news source out there. Fox News manipulates facts to suit their viewpoints and they use the 'liberal media' mask so that they can continue to say whatever they like.

    So basically what the Rasmussen Survey is saying is that Fox News is succeeding in its Republican propaganda. Also most news sources that have a liberal bias at least try to balance it out a bit with a few conservatives on there, but this never happens on any conservative news source.

    a terrific occasion is they don't prefer to record any of the positives that are occurring in IRAQ. you are able to refer to troops and that they say we are doing alright even in spite of the undeniable fact that there are important issues. to hearken to the media there has not been one solid day for the troops. Calling conservatives neocons isn't biased????? It almost certainly has connotations to Nazi Germany and that's ridiculous. in case you are able to examine the editorial positions interior the manhattan circumstances and not see bias then you shouldn't even ask the question.

    A majority of American voters say so? I'm not surprised at all.

    I doubt a majority of average Americans do, though.

    Funny, it was the "liberal" media who ignored the comment from Dick Cheney that Sarah Palin was a "reckless choice" by John McCain.

    You would think that the liberal media would be all over that comment considering that the people who love Sarah Palin, love Dick Cheney too.

    I just hope the pole was not made up or adjusted to fit a plan. And I hope its right and I hope the others figure it out.

    "A new survey from Scott Rasmussen finds that more than half of all voters (51%) believe "the average reporter is more liberal than they are,"

    So this means they are center then?

    Rasmussen = crap.

    Well, since Fox rules the roost as far as ratings, that makes them the "mainstream" media.

    So yeah, I can see where people think they're biased.

    Yes but it is a pleasant surprise, amazing how long it took for people to acknowledge the obvious
